Kumbh Mela or Kumbha Mela is a major pilgrimage and festival in Hinduism.
It is celebrated in a cycle of approximately 12 years, to celebrate every revolution Brihaspati completes, at four river-bank pilgrimage sites:
the Allahabad, Haridwar, Nashik, and Ujjain.
